Working hard in the games room

I’ve been slaving away putting the games room together.  I have to admit it is a labour of love, because many of the things are possessions with happy (or even sad) memories which have been locked away in boxes for many years.  One of the dreams of having this house was to have a big games room where all this stuff can be out on display.

I found some odd things.  This was the original login information for the first Internet connection R and I had together (it was more his than mine as I had never used the Internet before – and in 1992 to be honest there was not that much to use).

This is a character sheet from the first D&D campaign J and I ran together – that was in 1986 in Cambridge.  The lady whose character it was is now a Professor of Botany and a Dame of the Realm.

Here is one of the many large folders we generated from the same campaign ran in the early 1990s in Glasgow.  Many of my notes from this time are still hand written.

Everyone got a “Spell Book” – note that these were typed on my Amstrad PCW and then handbound with the title hand inked.

And last but not least, this is Amber treating these human trifles with the disdain they deserve.
