Cupar in bloom

R saw this when he was strolling through the park to meet my train.

I had quite an eventful day in Edinburgh going to see a podiatrist for gait analysis to see if I can stop turning my foot outwards so much.  That was very satisfactory – but I happened to pick the day of the first AC/DC concert in Scotland for 10 years (I have to say that if you had asked me I would have said that they were all dead).  Edinburgh is always mobbed in August – but Haymarket station with this concert happening was unbelievable – the place was heaving with people of around my age bulging out of faded T-shirts.  I even saw a “Never mind the Bollocks”  one…  Anyway, good on them – but the traffic was so bad I had to walk for 50 minutes from the clinic to the station rather than risk a taxi.

So it was good to be back in peaceful, quiet Cupar.
