Ninth Day of Mousemas – Boxing Day

Saphy here again.

The humans had great hilarity this afternoon playing a game called “Railway Rivals”.  This is apparently a game they bought in the dim mists of prehistory when there were sabre-toothed tigers that ate humans (aka “The Good Old Days).  Also before I was a twinkle in my great-great-great grandmother’s eye.

You have to build railways in the Victorian age and race your trains on the track.  This sounds like M and J’s cup of tea, but apparently R won narrowly.  They all jumped up and down and made choo-choo noises, including M’s Mum who is hundreds of years old (or something – she still has quite a nice knee for her age).

During all of this, I tried to get on the table lots of times but they always stopped me – they wouldn’t even let me steal more than one chair at a time.  So I then went into the wardrobe and sulked.  They bought me a new bed for Christmas – but I’ll be damned if I try that any time soon after the way they have treated me.  And the spider they bought us isn’t getting much play time either.

Anyway – the way they run their house leaving all the lights on they will be bankrupt soon anyway.
