Walk into Spring

R went for a walk today when I was at church.  One of the hymns today was “Awake my soul” – I couldn’t help thinking of J when we got to the line “cast off dull sloth and joyful rise” because J seriously does not like mornings.  Anyway R found a good new walk off the Ceres Road.

What looks like the sea in the picture is in fact mist, and very faintly in it you can see the giant “storage solutions” silo (not like the one in the TV show hopefully!).  The walk sounds very interesting so I will need to go round it myself.

When I got home the first signs of spring were visible in the garden.  I need to start looking at the garden when I get back, with one key concern being not to disturb things too soon as we have no idea what will pop out of the ground.  I was sort of hoping for some rhubarb but I have seen no signs of it.
