Dining room windows
I’ve now done the wallpapering and the majority of the woodwork. I now have to tackle the woodwork around the windows, which to be honest is the part that needed the attention the most, because parts of it are so dried out, cracked and neglected, that if urgent action is not taken the glass is going to start to come loose.

There are huge genuine Victorian shutters so I am going to leave these “au naturel” and just polish them with some tinted wax. The frames I am going to paint and I have been working on taping all the glass with masking tape so I don’t get paint on it.
I won’t say the beginning of the end, but perhaps, the end of the beginning.
