In which Distra gets two new shoots

The smaller of our two aspidistras, Aspie has just put out two new shoots.  For all they call them “cast iron plants”, she was not happy living in the basement, and had to be given pride of place in front of the stained glass window in the hall upstairs

The original and larger plant, Distra has no new shoots yet, but this is not uncommon as he had six last year and aspidistras tend to grow quite slowly.
