A new friend

I was on my way out this afternoon when I met this little individual in our driveway.  We haven’t seen any other cats in the garden – although I think I saw this one the other day in the garden next door (while I was painting the house sign).

He or she was very friendly and does not seem to be much more than a large kitten.  Unfortunately I was in a hurry so I passed on quickly, but doubtless we will meet again.

R says she looks like a younger version of Amber, but I doubt that Amber was ever that thin.  She has the look of a cat that was born with a certain weighty gravitas (for which read podge).
