Eleventh Day of Mousemas – Closing scenes
Amber again.
Mousemas is nearly over for another year. Tomorrow is R’s birthday which brings things to a close and the day after, M will take the decorations down. It is funny because humans are always joking about cats destroying Christmas trees, but Saphy and I have never been that interested in them – now leather or velvet chairs are quite a different matter.
I investigated the food cupboard today to see if there was anything relevant to my interests left over. I think M is going to make a parcel of all the leftover Christmas things for the foodbank and I want to make sure no tins of tuna were creeping in there.

M is also trying to find a home for a Christmas cake. Her Mum was supposed to be getting it but she turned it down, and J is not allowed it because M says he is podgy. Actually he is podgy for the same reason I am a bit on the “full figured side” – chronic laziness.

I suppose it is quite a nice Christmas cake if you like that kind of thing which I don’t. What I have been enjoying is a load of turkey every day, but sadly it is now finished.
