Panettone

Just before Christmas, J and I went to a fancy delicatessen and bought a Panettone.  It cost £19.  On Christmas morning we ate it and it was very nice.

Today J and I went to Lidl.  We bought a Panettone.  It cost £2.67, reduced from its full pre-Christmas price of £4.25.  This evening we ate it and it was very nice.

Go figure.
