Craft Class

I’m off to my craft class tonight.  This is the one where last year we made the Christmas bauble.

For the first class I am taking Larry the Lion along.  I bought the pattern for him when I was writing the Big Ted story for my Mum, because although we still had some of the toys, Wallace and Clarence the two lions had disappeared over the years.  But I never got him made so I am doing him now.

I had started off by trying to make him out of an old cushion cover but it was just not suitable as it frayed itself into tiny difficult to hoover up bits all over the floor.  So I bought some proper felt.  The needle case in the picture was a present from my Mum which I have had for over 20 years.
