Pancake Day

I made pancakes today. Having bought lemons for the “crepe” version, it turned out that both R and J preferred Scotch pancakes (aka drop scones). So I made those instead which leaves some lemons left over – I will turn those into some lemon drizzle cakes for the Farmer’s Market concert on Saturday.

R did threaten to make these, but as it turned out he last did it when he was seven, we decided that on balance it was best if I did it.

They were very good even if I say so myself.
