Italy here we come
My last real holiday was in 2019 when J and I walked the Camino to Santiago together (and what a great time we had).
R and I went to London for a week in 2023 – but my foot was so bad that by day 2 I could hardly walk. The only decent day we had was when we went to Kew Gardens and I noticed that they had wheelchairs at the gate – so R pushed me around (and they insisted on giving me and my “carer” free tickets.

I have come on just a bit since then!
Anyway – this coming year we are having a holiday which is now booked. We are going to Naples and the Sorrento peninsula for a week in January. The weather will not be fantastic, but we are going to absorb culture rather than lie on beaches, and to that end I have been learning Italian with Duolingo (plus a grammar book). I have a 228 day streak going, and today I finished Unit 3 – so just unit four to go.
