Moon over Cupar
There was the most amazing moon visible when I got up this morning – photos do not do it justice. It was like a giant blood orange hanging so low in the sky that it almost touched the buildings.

J and I went to Helensburgh in our new Aygo X today. The combination of the A91, A811 and A82 makes for interesting driving, it is a constant challenge of endless roundabouts, villages with narrow streets and parked cars on both sides, endless changes of speed limits, and some of the strangest road junctions I have ever seen. And some excruciatingly bad driving (by other people I will say) as well. So all and all it is two and a half hours of unremitting concentration to get there, and then the same again coming back. The train is much more restful, if slower and (much) more expensive.
Still, Mum was pleased to see us and we had a nice lunch, including her favourite salmon sandwiches.
