Coffee and crocodiles
I decided to volunteer at the Fife Folk museum, which is a great little heritage museum in Ceres not far from here. I did my first training session today – this was on how to do reception duties, but I will also be doing cataloguing and helping to set up exhibits.
There is a great tea room attached and I had a sustaining flat white teamed with a slice of Eton Mess cake. I have never heard of this particular cake, but it was exceedingly good, with a lovely sharp raspberry flavour stopping it from being too cloying.

On my return, however, the two crocodiles had moved from their position at the door and were menacing Douglas again. I think he is going to have to move into my bedroom – but the big question is “Can crocodiles climb stairs?”.
