To Helensburgh
J very kindly accompanied me to Helensburgh to see my Mum today. I did not think he would come as I was catching the 7:35am train from here and J does not like early mornings (and cold rainy ones at that).
But we had a nice day – here is J in Queens’ Street station in Glasgow.

By the time we got to the west coast believe it or not it was sunny and Helensburgh was looking very fetching. It is a place rather like the girl with the little curl in the nursery rhyme “When it is good it is very, very good, and when it is bad it is horrid.
