Raisin and oat biscuits

These biscuits are a Delia Smith special I have been making for years.  R and I call them “Christmas Biscuits” because that is when I generally make them.  You can tell how much R likes them because in all the years I have known him, they are the only baking I have known him to do.

Anyway, I went to make some to take to the Church cleaning session this morning, and because all three of us like them, I thought I would make a double batch.  They turned out well.  Sadly, R chose that moment to inform me that he had put himself on a diet.

He doesn’t need to lose weight but hey ho – more for J and I.
