Waterlilies and hard labour

So far we have five waterlily buds between our two ponds.  The first one came out yesterday.

Unfortunately no time for looking at flowers today as I am back to decorating.  I finally got the last of the “Sindy doll” wardrobes out of the house, leaving behind it, not only some incredibly waterproof and difficult to remove children’s wallpaper, but an incredibly recalcitrant baton which had been secured to the wall with six inches screws with old style screws, the heads of which had been comprehensively knackered.  I had to enlist the help of R who eventually ended up drilling them out.  Then I had wall paper to put up.

This is the last of the upstairs rooms to be “done” – or at least partially done.
