Giving blood

Went over to the YMCA for my second blood donation here in Cupar.

Apparently nearly 50% of first time donors never donate again – so I have managed to buck the trend.  Actually the first one didn’t bother me at all, and neither did the second one – in fact this time it was easier because they must have positioned the needle better and it got a better flow.

They gave me a nice little badge with my blood group on it – B+ Sounds like either a report grade or something out of “Brave New World” – “I’m so glad I’m B+”.  I don’t think they had any Epsilon minus semi-morons though – not in Cupar anyway (they don’t let them out of Kirkcaldy).

Note to any Kirkcaldy people – that was just a joke, I have nothing against Kirkcaldy really.
