Mowing the lawn

Continuing my gardening activities today with our robot “Rowley”.  I did most of the back lawn – it was quite a nice day but windy with a few clouds scudding about.  All of a sudden Rowley suddenly stopped – out of battery.

I went back into the garage to check and sure enough his battery was only high enough to get him back to his charging unit which is why his blades had spun down.  And there was a very good technical reason for this – some “individual” had switched the charger off at the wall.   I rang the individual in question (yes – it was R) to explore why he had done this (he “doesn’t like leaving them on when fully charged”) and was just starting to get mildly irritated when there was a loud noise from the roof.  While I had been talking, the heavens had opened and it was absolutely pissing it down.  I just made it back indoors before I got hit by lightning.

So there we are – completely accidentally R’s paranoia had saved Rowley and I a good soaking.  So I will let him off.
