Today was the Scottish Elections.  R and I went out first thing and were finished with it by 8am – I voted for our current MP who I think does a good job locally, although I do not agree with all the Lib Dem policies.   At least they are not actively abhorrent though which is more than I can say for some of the other piles of poo that have been plopping through our door for weeks now.  Not only have we had all the Fife rubbish, but our mail redirection also delivered the Argyll stuff too – at least that is over now.

On the way back we went into Lidl and bought some sourdough bread which made a very nice sandwich.

J finally managed to motivate himself to leave the house to vote at 9:15 pm.  I had the light on for him and was waiting to serve a hot snack when he got back, but he came in through the basement door without saying anything and left me worried about what had happened to him.  I was not pleased at this behaviour and politely and quietly explained this to him.  Well not that politely.  Or quietly.
