A different Caulders

Today we went to see my Mum in Rhu, and on the way we went into the Loch Lomond branch of Caulders for some plants for her patio(s).  We had some coffee – I would have had a roll and sausage, but R is on a diet so I had to show solidarity with him.  Then we bought some plants – as usual they had a lovely selection including this heather.

I had wanted to get compost, but R said there would be loads in the existing pots.  There wasn’t, and we ended up having to scrape the earth off the root balls of the dead plants we were throwing away.  This did not do much for either the carpets or my new beige shoes.

The plants look good though – I just hope she remembers to get her cleaner to water them.
